The Terwilligen showing is situated in Terwilligen Creek, an east flowing tributary to Harrymel Creek, approximately 8.5 kilometres west of Unuk River. The location is approximately 58 kilometres southwest of Bell 2 Lodge on Highway 37, and 75.5 kilometres northwest of Stewart, B.C.

The area is characterized by Stuhini Group sediments intruded by dikes of the Hawilson Monzodiorite and is within Metallis Resources Inc.'s Kirkham property.

During the 2018 phase 1 prospecting program by Metallis Resources Inc. a sub rounded float block (Y060561) containing disseminated bornite and chalcopyrite was discovered in Terwilligen Creek directly to the north of the Cole Target. This sample is described as a sub-rounded to sub-angular, silicified block of medium grained intrusive rocks (Monzodiorite). Although the source of this sample is unknown, the rock characteristics indicate that it is most likely related to the highly silicified monzodiorite dikes at the Cole Target. Assays returned 26.6 grams per tonne Au and 1.39 per cent Cu (Assessment Report 38231).
